Key Shipping Impacts (Maersk Official Notice)

1. Affected Port: Buenaventura

Colombia's largest Pacific port. All terminal operations are temporarily halted, and safety and infrastructure assessments are underway.

Currently affected are: vessel operations, cargo loading and unloading, and port service schedules.

At the same time, some transport routes between Buenaventura and inland Colombia are also impacted.

2. Maersk's Adjustment Plan for Two Vessels

1. Luna Maersk (Voyage 628W)

The vessel was berthed at Buenaventura at the time, and loading/unloading operations had to be halted; containers that weren't loaded/unloaded will be postponed to the next voyage.

2. Gudrun Maersk (Voyage 628E/633W)

The call at Buenaventura was canceled, skipping the port; the cargo originally planned for this port will be rescheduled.

3. Three Roads Closed, Port Collection and Delivery Also Affected

The earthquake not only impacted port operations but also caused disruptions in the inland transport network. According to information released by Maersk, the following roads are completely closed:

- Calarcá—Ibagué Highway, PR 54 800

- Buga—Buenaventura Highway, PR 71

- Manizales—Fresno Highway, PR 36, Cerro Bravo section

Among these, the Buga—Buenaventura Highway directly connects the port to inland areas, and its accessibility will affect import and export cargo collection and delivery.

So far, Maersk has stated that the following facilities have not reported any operational impact:

- Cartagena warehouse

- Bogota warehouse

- Tocancipá logistics center

- Cartagena yard

Maersk is evaluating emergency measures and coordinating with local teams, terminal operators, government departments, and logistics partners to minimize the impact on cargo flow as much as possible.
