Opportunities brought by the opening of Qiankai Port

Nowadays, Qiankai Port is hailed as the starting point of the Inca ancient road in the new era, continuing to write a new legendary chapter. As the first smart and green port in South America, its uniqueness is destined to make it an extraordinary presence. From a geographical perspective, the construction of Qiankai Port will help Peru build a three-dimensional, diverse, and efficient connectivity pattern from the coast to the inland, and from Peru to other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Moreover, through the tunnel connection with the Pan American Highway, it will directly reach the capital Lima, significantly improving trade convenience and regional connectivity.

With the official operation of Qiankai Port, not only has the one-way sea freight time from China to Peru been successfully shortened, but logistics costs have also been significantly reduced. This has not only had a positive impact on trade between China and Peru, but more importantly, it has provided a new platform and unprecedented opportunities for promoting economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and South America, and even the wider region.
